Okay the problem i think is the case wires since they are old its a bit confusing where to put them. I comnected the front panel wiree and the fans spin for a seconf but then stops. Orange light keeps flashing periodically and i cant boot it up

ASUS B450M K
16 GB DDR4 2400Mhz
Corsair VS450 PSU
GTX 1050ti which i havent put in yet

What CPU do you have? If you have a 3rd Gen Ryzen your mobo may not have an updated BIOS. If that's the case then you need to either borrow a 1st or 2nd Gen Ryzen CPU, take it to a computer shop, or send away for a free loaner CPU from AMD https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/faq/pa-100 inorder to update the BIOS.

If you have any other Ryzen besides a G (2200G, 3200G etc) you must have a graphics card installed since Ryzens do not have integrated graphics.

I would also strongly suggest you return the RAM if possible and get 3200mhz or faster RAM such as this https://pcpartpicker.com/product/jB...-2-x-8-gb-ddr4-3600-memory-f4-3600c16d-16gvkc

Check my other comment, and i bought this from amazon so i assume that the cpu and ram are already compatabile

You never listed the actual CPU you have. You only listed the Mobo, RAM, Power Supply and Graphics card.

The RAM is probably compatible but Ryzen take a significant performance hit with slower speed RAM, 2x8GB 3200mhz or faster is recommend for all Ryzens.

Ik about the performance difference bro but i want the pc working loo. And its a ryzen 5 2600 my bad.

You need to install the 1050ti in order to get a video output, so start by doing that (along with any PSU power cables the card may need, some are powered by the PCIe slot only, some require a 6 pin). You also must have your monitor plugged into the 1050ti video output and not the motherboards video output.

Make sure the RAM is firmly seated in the DIMM slots, they could have come lose in shipping.

Make sure the 24 PIN ATX connector and 8 pin CPU ETX connectors are fully inserted. Page 1-1 and 1-2 of you manual will show you where those are.

https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/PRIME-B450M-K/HelpDesk_Manual/

This is also where it will show you the correct hookups for all other USB, front panel IO etc.

If those fail try and boot with 1 RAM stick at a time in the A1 slot, its possible 1 stick of RAM is faulty.

Yeah the light is nothing. It looks like there is an issue with the power button on the fornt IO, either the wiring is messed up on the motherboard or the button itself is faulty.

Remove the front IO button wiring from the mobo and try and jump the power with a screwdriver

My manual doesnt say which pins are the power switch ones so i might take a while
