[SOLVED] B450M or B550M for Ryzen 3000?

I'm thinking of buying a motherboard for my Ryzen 5 3600. I'm deciding between ASUS PRIME B550M-A and MSI B450M BAZOOKA MAX WIFI.

They are pretty much the same price in my country. So is B550M better then the BAZOOKA B450M just because it is the latest chip? Because i've heard a lot of people saying that the higher quality B450 boards are much better option the the entry-level B550. Is that true?

I wouldn't say B450M Bazooka is at all a 'higher quality' B450 board. With that as a choice vs. (even) a B550M-A PRIME I'd choose the B550 board.

If for no other reason, B550 gives you known upgrade path to Zen3 CPU's for future proofing. In addition there's PCIE gen 4 to the GPU and NVME (dubious maybe) but also better PCIe capability with chipset- fed slots at Gen 3 bandwidth.
