[SOLVED] B450M PRO4 + Kingston SSD + 2TB Seagate

I got a Asrock B450M PRO4 MOBO with BIOS version P3.90. The 2TB Seagate Barracude Compute will not read for the life of it. The Kingston 480GB SSD will read in the BIOS, we currently have windows installed on it. The 2TB HDD does not read at all, even when I tried different SATA Connectors. Looking through my bios and manual, I've noticed there's not an option to enable/disable SATA connectors, I know my board in my PC has it, but this one does not. Although it's not the same board, is there a similar setting in the B450M PRO4?

You may need to initialize the drive in Disk Management.

Hey, I’m with the OP and we can’t initialize the hard drive because it isn’t showing up in the disk management. It’s as if there is no hard drive connected at all. Not seeing it in BIOS, File Manager, or Disk Manager.

You sure that both the power cable and sata cable are properly connected to all respective locations? Sometimes a loose power cable, for instance, can be your problem.

Yeah we are more than sure, tried all power connectors and sata cable configurations possible multiple times and each time we made sure they were all the way in and secure.
