Hello,

so I have this weird problem with the B460m Pr4 that the ethernet Adapter can't start.
It's detected by the device manager but there is a yellow exclamation mark.
When I open the device it just says "This device cannot start! Code: 10"
What I tried to fix it:
  • Installed driver from Asrock site
  • Installed new driver from Intel's driver site (can't find the adapter)
  • Windows updates
  • Ubuntu & Unraid newest version
  • changed a lot of bios settings
  • deactivated Ethernet Port in bios and reactivated
  • updated bios

I also exchanged it at the supplier but the same problem with a new mainboard.
I hope someone has a solution or I'm going to exchange it again for another model.

Sorry for the bad English.

Thank you

Could you please give a little more detail how you fixed I am facing the same problem
Remove the Motherboard from your case and try if this fixes the problem.
If yes, one of the mainboard screws is creating a short circuit. For me, it was the screw in the bottom right corner. I just don't use this screw spot anymore.
