Question B550 Mkey 2nd Drive

Hi

I have an s70 1tb in the Lightning Gen port and its working fine.

I have an older M Key Scandisk x600 from a Laptop that I wanted to put in the second slot by the graphics card so extra storage, however.

it's not detected in the Bios or Windows, is there a fix? or is it an Ali express PCIE Adapter job?

Make and model of your motherboard? might want to include your processor and the GPU(s) used since lanes might be shared or disabled when you've got more than one PCIe device onboard on the PCIe slots.

ive not messed with Bios other than Ram so ive not touched anything to do with Lanes as i dont know what to touch.

It must go in the M2_1 port.

There are 2x M.2 ports, only one of which can be used with a SATA drive. That Sandisk X600 is a SATA drive.

So if I swap the drives around both should work ?
