I don't know very much about power delivery and vrm's within motherboards, so I was wondering if there is any difference between the MSI B550 A-Pro, the MSI B550 Gaming plus, the MSI B550 Tomahawk, ASROCK B550 Steel Legend ATX and the ASUS B550 f-gaming. I was also wondering what b550 motherboard you guys would recommend for a 3700x maybe with light overclocking. I am looking at the ASUS B550 f-gaming, the ASROCK B550 Steel Legend ATX and all of the B550 MSI boards. I am leaning toward b550 because I want the future compatibility, but I don't have the budget for most x570 boards. I don't know very much about motherboards and what I really need. If anyone has any suggestions for motherboards that I didn't include please let me know.Thank you for your guy's feedback.

Here are the links to the motherboards:

Any good x470 MB would also do good job and be compatible (after flashing appropriate BIOS) with Ryzen 4000 series. From B450MBs, only MSI is committed to upgrade on their Max MBs.

Do you know anything about the vrm and power delivery on the msi b550 gaming plus, because i know that the msi b550 a pro has very good power delivery and vrms but I prefer the b550 gaming plus aesthetically and for features.

Judging by reviews, all b550 MBs have sufficient VRM for even highest Ryzen, certainly better than all b450 with maybe an exception of MSI Max MBs but they are still within 65-70% of comparable x570 boards.

I feel like i really have my heart set on b550 so if u have any recommendations on which ones are the best for the price I would gladly take them.

I've been looking at the MSI Tomahawk B550 and it does have excellent VRM. Lots of good features if you haven't checked out their information on the MSI website, or on Newegg. One thing to the person that wrote the question. There are now some good 570 motherboards that are within the same budget range as the Tomahawk. Be sure to check around before putting money down on the B550.
