Hey everyone. First of all, sorry for bad formatting or errors as i have to type on my dinosour phone.

Yesterday i went to bed and left the pc open. Woke up to blank screens. Only the gpu's led was on inside the pc, others and fans were unlit. Restarted to see my bios screen. Couldnt boot whatever i tried, unplugged all sata except the nvme on its slot and still did not work. Reset bios settings, took out battery and set it back, nope. When i opened my nvme slot i detected black moisture probably from melted buffer material however im able to see inside the directories of nvme in bios m flash menu so i think it is intact.

Biosdetects nvme but doesnt show it on the boot priority list. I used changing from uefi to cms with this while unplugging all other sata and it didnt work. I tried my ubuntu usb compact version but it didnt run which is sth that never happened to me before.

I can just format nvme with my windows stick however i need to back up files and my ubuntu stick for that isnt working. My windows stick doesnt have a repair option for some reason also, i thought maybe it could fx the boot partition but no luck.

What can i do? I really need this computer, work is crumbling every minute im away.

No detection issue with any peripherals includşng rams and nvme.

Morherboard: b550 tomahawk
Nvme: samsung evo 950 1 tb
Bios version: e7c91ams.a81
Cpu: ryzen 7 5800x if it is relevant

take the nvme to another working pc as an external drive and backup the data

I updated Bios to the latest full release. I can access my old windows 8.1 that i did not bother to fully delete by removing all other drives and changing OS configuration to CMS. However in UEFI nothing works.

I have been on this for around 8 hours now, from what I understand, i will have to secure-erase the nvme on Bios (a special option in MSI Click Bios 5) and re-install windows is a lot of work. I will have to first make sure i somehow back-up all my chrome profiles because they are vital for my work. It would be wonderful to have this work without formatting the drive. 960 gb is in there, but the important stuff is the profiles and some stuff that i'm not really sure that i can back up.

Update: I tried using windows 10 installation with usb but it cannot write or format anything on nvme, says it is write-protected. I will try to force format while im on my windows 8.1

Update 2: I tried installing windows 11 to the formatted (with a 3rd party software) NVME and it did not work. Error message is as follows:
"We couldn't install Windows in the location you chose. Please check your media drive. Here's more info about what heppened: 0x80300024"

For reference, i do everything in this video over here but still get the error:
