HI guys, I'm planning for an intel build. What should I buy in terms of motherboards? B560, Z490, or Z590? They're all similarly priced, but I don't want to spend more money than I need. open to suggestions. (btw if someone reccomends amd you can tell me)

Solution
What's wrong with it? I don't think my budget would allow with an extra cooler.. Can you build a build on pc part picker for 1100 dollars including monitor? (the monitor can be 1080p 75hz but if you can get more would be appreciated and the gpu has to be 1650 super or better thanks really appreciated if you can build be a build) thanks
You can add a storage drive later on. For now I'd recommend a 1TB SSD.

I'm going for either an i3 or i5, depending on the cost of the motherboard.

The gpu: 1650 super
storage: 500gb ssd + 1 or 2 tb hdd
case: 4000d airflow
ram: 8gb (will upgrade if budget allows)

B560 boards have 16 PCIe lanes vs 20 for the Z590 boards. You can OC with the Z590. With that said you can obtain a B560 board for much cheaper.

Yea 1000 dollars for the build. I want pcie 4 because I'm not gonna upgrade the motherboard. For the moment, I'll decide on the mobo first, and check the budget. Most probably I'll go for the I3 10100. Maybe i5 11400. Depends on the mobo's price.

Here is a wiki link to lga1200 chipsets and capabilities.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LGA_1200
To my mind, why buy a 400 series chipset when the 500 series is available.
Yes, they are similar, but the 500 series have had time to learn from the previous gen.
On the chart above, the Z prefix models allow cpu overclocking of the K suffix processors. This capability has become less useful over time since latest motherboards and processors now have the ability to turbo up a few cores for more performance if conditions are right. Overclocking of all cores is more useful for multithreaded apps where all cores can run maxed out.
For desktop and gaming, overclocking no longer gets you something for nothing.

You will find that generally, the Z590 motherboards have more robust voltage regulation and cooling, allowing higher turbos.
This is really more applicable to I7 and I9 processors.
B560 is equally good for i3/i5.

If your budget is for a i3-10100, nothing special in a motherboard other than lga1200 is required.
I have built two and performance is very good and the stock cooler is fine.

But, if you have the budget, see if you can't swing a i5-11400.
You get added threads, increased performance per clock, higher turbo, and hd730 graphics.
Graphics cards are hard to buy today. I would not try to save a few bucks by buying the f versions.
You can never tell when you might need the integrated graphics.
You need 11th gen at I5,i7,or i9 to run pcie 4.0 as well as a 500 series motherboard. I have my doubts about i3 working pcie 4
Look for MATX format, a smaller size with only 4 expansion slots.
Here is an example:
https://www.newegg.com/p/N82E16813144396?quicklink=true

The first rule on ram is to get enough up front.
For most, this will be a 2 x 8gb ddr4 kit.
Ram must be matched, adding ram later may not work properly.
Intel does not depend on fast ram for performance.
2666 is fine. Sometimes 3000,3200 or even 3600 speed costs the same and a
500 series motherboard will handle that.

I'm going to upgrade cpus that's why I'm getting high end mobo's. I'm not planning to upgrade motherboards. Uhhh about ram, if my budget allows I'll get 16 gb ram. If not 8gb. You're right about integrated graphics, but if something happens, I can go get a gpu for like 45 bucks. Mobo size doesn't matter, as long as it isn't EATX. What's the difference between b560 and Z590?

the psu I'm not comfortable with buying from a brand I've never heard of..... 1tb ssd seems too much... I'd rather get a 500gb ssd and I already have 2 1tb and 1 2tb hdd's at home... mobo seems nice, for the cpu I'd rather get the non f version... the graphics on the non f are nice... I'd rather get a better cooler or not get one, I won't get one at first and use the stock cooler and I'll monitor the temps, if they are too high I'll get another cooler. for the gpu I found one in my country for 197 bucks, it's the zotac fan twin 1650 super. for windows I'll copy the one on my laptop and use it. For the Z590 it's also good. Thanks for the build overall. For the case, which is better, the 4000d airflow or the one you listed? Feel like 4000d airflow is better in terms of performance and airflow, I checked benchmarks and the 4000d airflow gave lower temps by upto 10c

There's a bundle deal going on where you can pick up the i5 11400 and the Z590-P for 373 bucks which is a killer. Don't you think? Plus, what's the difference between the Z590-p and the Asus TUF Z590 plus wifi, the MSI Z590 A-Pro, and these kind of motherboards?

What's wrong with it? I don't think my budget would allow with an extra cooler.. Can you build a build on pc part picker for 1100 dollars including monitor? (the monitor can be 1080p 75hz but if you can get more would be appreciated and the gpu has to be 1650 super or better thanks really appreciated if you can build be a build) thanks
Is this $1000 US or CAD?

Could go for something like this: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/WG3Rxc

Then go on ebay to find a GPU with the 325 that's left. Pricing for everything is horrific right now but you can still get a RX 580 8GB for 200-250 which will do a job at 1080p or maybe even squeak a 1070
