Question B650 tomahawk boot stops after cpu and dram led turn off

I got mostly a new system
MSI B650 tomahawk wifi
AMD Ryzen 9 7900x
Nvidia GeForce 3080 ti
G-Skill trident Z5 neo rgb F5-6000J3636F16GX2-TZ5NR

I connected all the cables and the system starts all the fans and rgb start to light up. On the motherboard the ezdebug led for cpu and ram start to light up and shut down after 20 seconds and nothing else happens. The vga and boot led never light up. So in the end i have no clue where to start looking for a solution. This is already the second motherboard, send the first one back with the same issue.

I tried removing the ram one at a time and even removed the ram completely. If I do that the dram led on the board is lit u til I put ram back in.
I tried to boot with and without graphics card, same issue.
Neither a Cmos reset nor flashing the bios did anything to change the outcome.

Since the POST never finished I don't get a video signal or any peripheral to work.

What's your power supply? Did you double check all your power connections to make sure they're all fully inserted?

I have a 1000 w cobra power 80 plus gold power supply, yes I have checked cables several times unplugged them, plugged them back again. Even tried with another power supply to be safe there are no faulty connections, same result.
