B85 chipset 4x4 ram support ?

Solution
You recommend quad kits for the LGA1150 chipset that doesn't support quad channel RAM. Quad channel performs exactly like dual channel with LGA1150 chipset.
no you can't your mobo supports DDR3 RAM but if you want 16 GB (which is MOBOs maximum) you have to use 2 x 8GB DDR3 or DDR3L RAM, you have only 2 dimm slots. So it's 2x 4GB as you have already or try switching them with 2x 8GB RAMs. Trying second solution, I would recommend you look for paired dual kit RAMs to lose any problems, your mobo could have problem reading 2 of them if they ain't same brand, model, bus speed, timings, etc.. So I would recommend using 2 confirmed dual kit RAMs

my mobo is this one https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/B85MGAMER/ and i am running a i5 4590 and will be using 4x4 twinmos 1600 mhz ram

I am sorry for wrong info, haven't read you have B85M Gamer, yes you can use 4x4GB DDR 3 RAMs, still I recommend same bus speed and quad kits.

Ahh, I missed the chipset too? xD I'm sorry again xD
