Liverpool squad of 11 different nations against Leverkusen is what we will
loose after new UEFA rules, from my humble opinion it was great to see The
Babel Garden alive again.

I welcome the new rules. I want british teams to field at least 50%
british players in every game (except, when injury crisis makes it NOT
possible). The entire squads, throughout europe, should also be put
together with at least 50% of the players being from the clubs country.
More excitement, not the same 10 clubs over and over again winning the
cl. Real Madrid and Juventus have been in 7 of the CL finals...and they
started in 95.... I would love to see other teams there. Werder Breme,
Tottenham (yes yes...don`t kill me..lol) etc.

And do you think local players will balance the clubs power?
I don't see any relation.

Erm, surely if you've got 10 sides competing every season that's a better
competition than any domestic league.
