I have a H100i V2 Extreme Edition and the back plate rattle's when you touch it and im worried that when i install it and put the block on and screw it on to the back plate it will rattle and the heat sink will not always be on the CPU is this normal for it to rattle?

Solution
I'm sure there is a manual with drawings or pictures of parts and how to assemble. By the time it's all assembled nothing should rattle.
If you are using the intel kit (which I assume you are since they use the stock AMD bracket) it should not move (if I remember properly).
One of the standoffs is probably loose causing it to rattle. It should be tight, but not putting excessive pressure on the motherboard.

the only way to know is to install it. if its not installed yet then its going to be loose (obviously). you can't know for sure it's going to "rattle" until its actually installed properly...........................

i am using the intel kit and i dont have my cpu yet so i cant test it, but they are not loose but should i be putting washers in the stand off's? i did look for the 16 washer's that were supposed to be in my kit and i did not find them in the bag of the other bracket and the mounting screw's so i dont think i have them.

so what i am talking about is the backplate is on the mother board and the two sided screws, ya know it has a screw to screw into the backplate on oneside and a screw on the other side for the water block i am wondering if i need to put on washers between the screw and backplate to make it stop rattling, but i dont think the H100i box came with the washers.
