There are two keys with the backslash character on them, both to the right of the digits row, and next to the Backspace key. The one on the left of the zero prints +, or shifted ? and Alt'd ......nothing, the key has a backslash there, that is what I would expect it to print, it does not. The key next to it has the backslash bottom left but prints ´ native, ` shifted, nothing Alt'd and | Alt Gr'd. I need backslash characters for html files, how do I get the character?

Yeah, I'm unfamiliar with any keyboard layout that has two slashes to the right of the digits. Typically one slash is one the third row with letters and the other slash in the lower right down near the spacebar and right shift somewhere. And the key to the left of the backspace typically is the = and + key.

Definitely going to need to more information on this.

The keyboard is similar to others I've seen here, it is Danish, and has the extra letters used in the Danish alphabet to the right of the first and second rows of regular characters (Å Æ Ø), with upper and lower cases. Those character keys have Swedish characters in their Alt positions.

Logitech's help is an AI, pretty useless as usual.

Do you not have these keys?

I can't see your keyboard, so I have nothing to add since I can't see what your problem is, which is kind of a prerequisite to thinking of a solution.

On Scandinavian keyboards these keys exist, but gives different characters depending on what keyboard layout you use.

Swedish:
Normal Shifted AltGr
? + \
´ `

Danish:
Normal Shifted AltGr
+ ?
´ ` |

Norwegian;
Normal Shifted AltGr
+ ?
\ ` ´

Sorry spaces or tabs gets removed on preview/posting

That helps, yes. The \ character comes if I use the Alt Gr key with the bottom left key which also has the < and > characters on it. The other character shown on the key there is a pipe, but that does not work there, I need to use Alt Gr with the key next to the backspace character to the right of the digits row .
Anyway. we got there, now I need to remember why I needed it!
Thanks.
