good morning

last year i had to sell my pc among other things ( guitars ..amps ..etc) but now the problems are gone

and i really miss playing on my pc although all my friends are playing on ps4 i have met alot of people in the pc gaming community

my last pc coast me alot because i went to a store and told them to build it for me

i7 cpu ( i forgot which one )
gaming 3 board
8gb ram
970 graphic card (MSI GeForce )
650 power supply
haf 912 casing
ssd 120 gb
1 tb hdd/dvd

don't ask me how much it coast me because believe me they rob me

so after searching online for my new budget i found this and i can order it from amazon but for some reasons they cant ship the motherboard and the SSD so im going to buy it from here

CPU: Intel Core i5-6600K] ( going to change it to i7 ) or should i keep it

FAN :CM Hyper 212 EVO

MOBO: MSI Z170-A PRO

GPU: Zotac GTX 980

RAM :Crucial Ballistix 8GB

SSD :Samsung 850 EVO 250GB

HDD :Seagate 1 TB

CASE: Corsair Carbide 200R ( going with a different case)

PSU EVGA SuperNOVA 750 G2 (im going to buy the power supply also from the local store *voltage difference)

ODD Samsung 24x SATA

and thats going to coast me around 980$ with the shipping

now is that an upgrade from my last pc ? and compering it to what the local store is offering which one is better

thats a 2067$ pc according to them

thanks a lot

Amazon does not have presence in hardware business in some countries and it will start shipping down the line (1-2 years). The reason varies from lack of demand to lack of suppliers.

Yes, for 1080p , GTX 980ti would suffice for most games but at that resolution, constant GPU upgrades may be necessary.

From the listed motherboards (only 1151 sockets are applicable.... as 1150 is for 4th Gen and X99/2011 sockets are for Exterme editions), I see the ASUS H170-Pro one as an ideal purchase for mid range and Asrock Fatality Z170 ideal as the higher end mobo.
You did not mention which CPU you had earlier. If you already had an i7 from 2nd to 4th Gen, the upgrade was not very necessary IMO. You could always upgrade thE GPU and add more RAM, but the whole platform upgrade was not that necessary. But what s done is done and enjoy your new PC....it is good rig. :)
Regarding the new rig, DO NOT upgrade to a 6th i7 and keep your i5. From gaming perspective, you will pay a lot for upgrading to a same gen i7 and that will never bring you any performance difference.

Also, DO NOT consider the GTX 980 or any of it's variants. Settle for a GTX 980Ti and you can expect better performance from the 980Ti and also better power efficiency.

Thanks serioussamik17 for replying i didn't ordered the parts yet i want to ask the community first and yes i might go for the 980 ti if forgot which i7 i had on my last pc but from what i have read i7 doesn't do that much for gaming so i might get an i5 after all

I'd go with the i5 and plan on staying there for now. Until something huge causes a need for the i7, there's not need for the extra threads.

Don't get a 980. If you're gaming at 1080P, get a 970 or if you're using a 1440+ resolution or 144Hz screen, get a 980ti. The 980 doesn't justify the price over the 970, but the 980Ti does.

Otherwise, looks good. Just make sure your RAM and motherboard are compatible (DDR4).

Glad you did not order the PC. As Anarkie13 mentioned, stick with your current config (i5 6600 and 970)!
At best get a 980Ti , if you already sold your GTX 970.
Nothing is there in the games market that warrants extra thread and also consider the H170 chipset instead of the costlier Z170 chipset, as you intend to use a single card setup. Z170 is basically getting the same performance as the cheaper H170, albeit with a few added bells and whistles. Other than the SLI/Crossfire setup, half of the features of the Z170 may not be used in it's lifetime.

I believe his 970 is sold per his OP. I'd agree with the H170 if he had a standard i5-6600 listed. But with the 6600k and EVO 212 listed, there's OC headroom made available and that added clock will work nicely over the foreseeable future. Not to mention the availability of faster RAM. Small features that can add up nicely.

these are the available motherboard

is there a reason why amazon cant ship motherboards to my country ?

@serioussamik17 my gtx970 is sold already i didn't have any problem with it my gaming experience was great but i thought im building a new pc why not upgrade from my last one for now im looking for playing in 1080p ....4k is something im looking for it after but the 980ti is within my budget

all right then Asrock Fatality Z170 it is

thanks a lot serioussamik17 and Anarkie13 you have been a great help and sorry for all the questions i am a little afraid from ordering the parts my own i though i would screw up in something

No worries at all. Sounds like you'll have a nicely capable machine soon. I've had the 990FX Fatal1ty board. Nice board and nice feature set for the price. Seems Asrock kept that line strong as my friend has the Z97 version and loves it.

Enjoy!

thanks man this is my first time ordering from amazon usually i use ebay but not for pc parts and i think im going to use from now

i mean 44$ from the US to BAHRAIN is a good price and within 7-10 days

i have to get the case from here because i coast a lot to ship it
