Backdate to XP?

I am currently running Windows 7, but 7 isn't supported by my laptop's integrated graphics chip (Intel 915GM?GMS, 910GML Express Chipset Family). Therefore i can't update video drivers etc. Meaning i can't play most games. The laptop came with XP, meaning going back to it would pobably solve the problem. Do you recommend i backdate or not and why?

Could you play most games on your laptop before upgrading? I doubt it, your video card was not designed to play games, just give a display. As to your choice? I was in that same position a number of years ago and decided to revert back to XP. As bad as I make the graphics out to be I just wasn't getting what I wanted from 7 so XP got put back. On saying that, I use 7 almost all the time at home (but not on that laptop).

I had punched out a great long spiel about this, that and the next thing, then presenting a case for and against reverting back to XP, then I decided to Google.
