Backed up videos do not start at the beginning

Hi,
All of a sudden my 4TB Seagate external drive starts my video files in progress rather than at the beginning of the movie. Seems to do it with all the movies I've backed up on it.
Has anyone experienced this problem before? If so, is there a fix for it?

Check your video player and see if it has a setting for start at beginning or when the video was stopped.
