No. The thing is that I got this sketchy mobo that is sold here with my CPU for pretty much free and I can barely find anything about it online (h61fdl2). My bios is from 2013 and caused quite a few problems for me. My friend also got the exact same mobo new and got a 2017 bios that I would like to install on mine.No, unless you can remove the chip.
Most if not all BIOS files, old and new are readily available for download.

And the less fortunate like me need to find workarounds and look well enough. Thanks for the input tho.I would try to find Bios from your manufacturer first. But giga has something here. compare his dates and bios # with these.
