Having recently experienced hard drive crashes, I am wondering if it is possible to back up files to my web host. If so, what is the fastest way to back up files and access them? What software should I use?

Thanks.

Several ways to do it.

Method one:
1) Go to Walmart.
2) Get a 1-2 TB USB drive.
3) get backup software that allows scheduling.
4) back up to the external drive on a consistent basis.

Method two:
1) go to newegg/amazon.
2) purchase 2-4tb drive.
3) mount drive in computer.
4) use backup software to backup to drive on consistent basis.

That wasn't my question. I already know you can back up to another hard drive, but I am wondering if anyone has ever backed up to a web host account like hostgator.

I am wondering if they will stop you from doing this. I plan on back up my drives to my web hosting account that I pay about $60/yr for.
