Backing up in Windows XP Home Edition

The Backup option does not appear under System Tools. I do recall seeing it
there before, I think it may have disappeared after I downloaded the Service
Pack 2, but I can't be sure. Can anyone help me to find it or re-install it?

It's on your XP cd as an optional install. Just slip your XP cd into your cd
player and you should find it. 🙂

Thanks for all your help. I've had my computer for about 3 yrs and the only
disk I have is the recovery cd. Would the bacup utility be on that?

Depends on your OEM, but probably not. You can download
ntbackup.msi at
http://www.onecomputerguy.com/software/ntbackup.msi

It might be, depends on your vendor. However, you can download it
easier, which I did from advice received here. Check out this link:
