backing up UPLAY & GTA V

can anyone tell me how to back up UPLAY games & GTA V before re-installing windows ?

You can't. A program can't simply be copied as it has to create registry entries during installation.

I always recommend installing the OS to its own physical drive for just this type of occasion.
