Hi folks,
I have a HP 14-AM078na laptop with no backlight. Tested the screen on another laptop and it's seems fine. Pretty sure cable is ok too, normally happens over time and moving cable, ie opening/closing lid would restore picture if cable is dodgy. This backlight just stopped suddenly. My understanding this can be caused by a blown fuse on MB.
Took motherboard out and looked at the area under the LVDS connector, see pic. Two fuses marked, F3020 and F3033. F3020 is marked 1.1A/6V is easy to see on the board,H-, tested continuity and its fine. F3020 is marked 0.5A/24V but I'm not which component it is?
Looks like its beside D3000 but I think that is just a register, any ideas?
The motherboard model is DINERINL-6050A2823301-MB-A02, unfortunately I can't find any schematics online.
Thanks in advance.
