Question Backlit Keyboard HP Probook G3

I have an HP Probook G3 and since doing the latest firmware upgrade on the device the trackpad is kinda wonkey and I can't get the backlit keyboard to work. Anyone have any ideas?

By firmware are you referring to a BIOS update or firmware for the keyboard itself? If the former, which version are you currently on? Can you provide an SKU to your HP laptop? It's a number before the G3 but after the ProBook.

Which OS are you on and what version are you working with?

Yeah the BIOS. the SN is as follows: 5CD6131DP6. I updated to the latest BIOS as of 11/2019 01.44 Rev.A per the HP site and the trackpad doesn't work nor does that backlit keyboard (If this generation had one is not working either
