Hello,

Can anyone suggest me a keyboard with backlight that has minimal light leakage?

I'm looking for preferably a mechanical keyboard.

I've narrowed down my choices to these:
1. K70 - Red Led
2. K70 RGB/K95 RGB
3. Ryos MK Pro
4. Steelseries Apex

I'm not dying to get a RGB lighting scheme, but it is preferred. The reason I'm holding back on K70 RGB is because the light leakage looks horrible. I only want the letters on the key lit and would like minimal to zero leakage from the sides (The Razor Chroma has this problem as well). That is why I was looking at the Roccat MK Pro.

Could anyone help me decide, based on the pros and cons of each?

Thanks.

Because I just purchased one, I will comment on the SS Apex. First, it is huge. It will take a lot of space. It is indeed very customizable and the lighting effects can be managed to meet all of your desires.

I am returning the Apex ASAP. I find all of the keys, the layout, and just the feel of the keyboard to be very awkward. It is just a bit to complicated for my keyboard tastes.

The K70 is highly regarded by many. I am not experienced with the Roccat.

Thank you.
Would you say one would get used to the Apex after using it for say, 2 weeks or so? Also, have you tried it with any other OS besides Windows?

Anyone with experience with Roccat's? Also, if anyone with a K70 could comment on the amount of light leakage, that would be appreciated.
