Question Backup drive isn't showing in drive list

Hi! I've never used an external backup drive before, but my nephew gave me a 2TB drive to copy files to a new computer.

The drive isn't showing up when I look for it in the drive listing, but it does show in device manager, and it isn't listing any problems.

Any way I can get my computer to recognize it? Thanks!

What drive, how is it connected?

Please show us a screencap of your Disk Management window. (Not Device Manager)

I got it figured out, thanks!

Drive wasn't formatted. I did have another question, now that the drive is recognized in computer A, will it be automatically recognized when I transfer it to computer B with the files to be copied?
