backup windows 10 and get to windows 7

so i wanted to go back to windows 7 but i dont have those files anymore so i wanted to backup my windows 10 files and if i clean install widnows 7 how would i get those files back in windows 7? if its possible

1. Copy your personal files off to another drive.
2. Install Win 7. This may or may not involve purchasing a new OS license.
3. Reinstall all your applications.
4. Copy your personal files back over.

In order to go back to Windows 7, you need to back up all of your files and then reinstall the older version of Windows from your original installation media, or by downloading the ISOs from Microsoft(https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/software-download/home).
