Hey guys, I recently upgraded from GT 730 to 1060 GTX.
Now here's the thing, I have a monitor with max native res 1440 x 900, and It only has a VGA input in it no DVI or HDMI. I bought a HDMI > VGA adapter and the graphics card works fine at all.(I can even select 1920 res for some weird reason which i previously couldn't ( but it does not look good ))
However after installing the GPU properly with drivers and all, I've been having really dark colors .. I edited the brightness to 65% in NVDIA control panel however you can still notice the color flaws in the games I play...so It kinda irritates me..
Do I need to get a DVI adapter instead ? A new monitor perhaps ? ( I hope not because my budget is 0 now lol ) or is there some kind of patch that can solve this ?
