Bad CPU?

Hello, i have a very strange problem. I think my CPU is "fried". My computer just slowed down very badly. I thought i fried the CPU, because i used it while it was overheating for almost one week. I bought a new fan&paste. I solved the overheating problem. But my PC is still very laggy. I tried with an old Celeron 1.80 GHZ CPU, and my PC runs way better than the old "fried" one. I don't know that this is my problem or not, but i also have 3 bad sectors. I don't know that my HDD or my CPU is/was the problem.
Please reply as you can. (Sorry for bad English btw. 😀)

High temps may harm your PC... You might very well have fried it :s

So it's my CPU that causing the problem? I hope it's not the HDD because i already ordered a new CPU 😀

Well, I bet that it is the CPU. But I can't be sure... Obviously...
