Bad graphics card/not compatible?

Hello,
i'm running windows 7 ultimate 64 on a m4a79xtd evo mother board. have 8 gigs of ram. amd readeon 5770 graphics amd phenom quad core 955 blk.

i bought a amd radeon 5770 to go with the one i already have (for crossfiring) when i put both cards in (crossfired or not) i get bsod after about 20 mins. if i take out the new card, no problems. take out old card, cash. done everthing i can think of. antythoughts

Looks like the new card might be defective. Return it and see if another one works. What kind of PSU are you running? what are the temperatures looking like in your case?
