On Wednesday I was playing Counter Strike and out of anger i slapped my laptop by the keyboard. As soon as that happened my computer froze and took me to the bios. I tried everything to get out of it but it wouldnt work. My laptop was making a clicking noise and my bios wasnt showing the hard drive. I tried switching the hard drive to a different sata connecter but it still wouldnt work. Does this mean my hard drive failed? If it did can i just buy a new hard drive and use a usb to sata adapter like sabrent to get my stuff from the old hard drive to the new one? Also would I need a new operating system with my new hard drive? I got my computerfrom bestbuy so would it be covered under my warranty and how long would it take them to fix it. Which one would it be better to do and are there other options? Im trying to get my computer fixed by christmas. My computer is a Asus G750JM. It has a toshiba hard drive.

If it is a hard drive issue, probably not
