Quick question:

I have laptop with an HHD that is using 100% disk usage continuously. Decided let's just replace it with an
M.2 SSD, it will be faster anyway.

All online video tutorials I have found, the HHD is always replaced with something. But I have nothing to replace it with currently, just removing the HHD and placing in the M.2 SSD. Ok, but what do I now do with the empty HHD ribbon cable slot? Do I just close it and leave it empty? Or do I replace the ribbon cable, but it isn't connected to any HHD on the other end?

Thanks!

Just ad a cheap SATA SSD in place of HDD since you have that option.
