Bad looking xp fonts

Hello,
I have been using xp with a 24'' samsung monitor,ive matrix 5870 and connect it via hdmi.So the problem is that when i work with my xp instead of windows 7,windows xp fonts dont look good.There is no problem with videos,games etc.But its even hard to read whats written in another places,fe excel,word.I wonder if theres a solution to fix that?thank you all

Set your XP resolution to the native resolution for your monitor and use Clear Type.
-- Right-click on the desktop, select properties, go to the Appearance tab, press the Effect button, and use the drop-down to select Clear type. Press ok.
-- Go the Settings tab, and adjust the screen resolution to your monitor's native resolution. Press the ok button.
