Bad luck with computers

Ok so I've been trying to have my computer to run star wars TOR and well when I thought I was upgrading my CPU the new one I put it runs the game even worse than before please help I've tired everything.


Specs:

Went from AMD Athlon x2 220 2.8ghz to AMD Phenom x4 960T Black Edition 3.0ghz
4GB of Ram
ATI Radeon HD 6770
600w power supply
Motherboard: ASUSTeK Computer INC., CM1730,CM1830, Rev X.0x, MT7015052101890

How will reinstalling the OS help just curious?

Run CPUz and use the mainboard tab for motherboard and BIOS version.

Using the motherboard information, check the company website to verify that your CPU is supported and what BIOS version is required.
