Question Bad motherboard, SSD, or...?

Hello,

I have a customer built machine. About 8 months ago I installed a 1 TB Seagate SSD. All was fine until about a couple months ago when I would hear the occasional beep from the computer, The beeping intensified until I started getting freezes, crashes, and BSOD with various error codes although the computer would run for long periods of time. When I would restart, the ChkDsk would occasionally indicate that the new drive was bad and would repair it. Evenntually I got sick of it and ran Seagate Tools which indicate some of the sectors were bad, so I returned the drive and got a new one. For a week or so it seemed fine, but now I am having the same issues. I again ran Seagate Tools and the new drive failed. If I go into Windows Explorer and try to look at the new drive, it will sometimes freeze on me or not show up at all but the other 2 drives seem fine. I had a similar problem where the issue was faulty RAM, but I've checked that and it runs games at high settings fine so I don't think it is RAM. The power supply might be a few years old tops (everything else is <2yrs except for one drive which functions fine). I went to NewEgg and their calculator said I would need <500W and I have a 650W Corsair PSU. I tried swapping out a functioning drive on the bad drives SATA cables and it seemed fine.

Is it likely that 2 new SSD's would fail within a couple months of each other, or is this more likely an indication of an underlying issue? I'd appreciate any recommendations on what my next steps should be? Is the best solution to just get a new PSU, MB, and drive and swap them out one at a time? Any thought on which I should start with?

Thanks in advance!

I have 16G of DDR memory which passes memtest with no issues. I don't know what you mean by the QVL , but I'm sure it fits my board and I've been using it for years with no problems. I reseated them to make sure that wasn't the issue.

So for several days I've been running my computer with the questionable drive disconnected and have not had any major problems. I've heard exactly one beep and I have not had any BSOD's. I think I'll return it for another new one but I'm wondering if there is something going on that might cause the drive to have issues , like a power surge or something. I'm tempted to try putting one of my other drives on that SATA but I'm afraid I might fry another.

Update. So yesterday I gont another BSOD, this time on another drive. Windows fixed it, but it is the drive that has my Windows installation which worries me. It seems ok now, but I reset my computer today and it beeped three times before booting, and I know this could be bad RAM. I just ran memtest recently and it passed and I ran the Windows checkr and it passed. I'm going to run memtest again. I also have intermittent sound issues: bluetooth devices will disconnect and sometimes my headphones will stop working but will function again once I unplug them and plug them in again.

Is it a good assumption that it is the board because that is the main thing that these 3 issues have in common?
