Started a new build this weekend with the Asrock z790 Steel legend motherboard, i9 14700k cpu and Lan Li RGB water cooler. Initially on Saturday everything was put together and working great with the exception of the motherboard having a broken upper gpu slot. I returned the motherboard on Sunday and got an exchange for the same one. Once installed, I turned the system on, everything seemed to fire up Initially but after a second or two the lightning on the cpu cooler went out and the monitor never could find any signal with the gpu. I tried repeating the gpu to ensure it was connected good to the motherboard, second I double checked all the cpu cooler connections to ensure everything was set up properly. Fired up again and same result. Although I knew it was not the issue I wanted to check and see if by chance the upper gpu slot was having issues again so I moved it down to the middle slot and fired up again, exact same result., all fans and lightning comes on and seems to be firing up but the lightning on the cpu cooler does not come on and again no display signal on the monitor. Could this be yet another bad motherboard?
