Hi there.I am in doubs that my pc is runing as it should.I am saying this because most of the games have random place where its starts to lag.I have the latest drivers, clean install and all that.My specs are:
Amd FX 8350 4.0 ghz
Xfx Radeon hd 7950 3 gb
16 gb ram 1600 mhz( i am not an expert, but in hwinfo its saying 800 mhz,so are the both of them on 1600?Is that how it works?)
1 Tb hd
windows 7 ultimate x64
Psu OCZ 750w

Need for Speed Most Wanted 2014,Need for Speed Rivals,AC4,Watch Dogs is the worst one.I can barely hit 10 fps on ultra. All this games run pretty good, but there is moment where its start lagging. It is not after a time.I guess is because on the graphic being more detailed. My gpu doesnt reach 100% load in any of this games.Still the games run bad.Sorry if i made mistakes writing.Still learning:).Thanks in advance

DDR means double data rate. Marketing wise the frequency is listed as 1600 Mhz which is the "effective" clock. 800Mhz is normal for DDR3 1600.

Stock cooler for the CPU?

Do you know what temperatures your CPU and your GPU are getting up to when you play these games? Might be experiencing throttling.

Yes i have a stock cooler. The Cpu is 55-60.Gpu max 75.The trouble is,that no matter how low will i go with the settings, the games runs pretty much the same.

So that means that my Ram memory is pretty good?

DDR3 1600 is more or less the industry standard. But DDR3 3200, 3000, 2800, 2400, 2133, and 1866 are all available. 1866 is common to see with new Intel Haswell based OEM computers.

That is fairly warm for an AMD chip, rated at 61.1 degrees C with all 8 cores enabled, so you might want to consider an aftermarket heatsink. Cooler Master Hyper Evo 212 is a popular cheap and effective solution.

I don't suspect the power supply, but the only sure way to know is to change it out. Might be failing to deliver power appropriately to the CPU or GPU under heavy load.

One of the three OCZ 750W supplies is a split rail design and you might be overloading one of the rails. The other two are single rail designs. If you check the label on your power supply it should show 2 or more 12V current ratings. The one with more then two is a multi-rail design.

If that is the case it might be a simple matter of rearranging the cables in your computer to split the CPU and Video card.

After that, it could be any number of things.

I have changed the power supply 3 times by now. This one is farly new.I had the cheap one that came with the case. Then another 600 w one but i,ve changed that because it was not enough for the specs.(or it was faulty).I will try to buy an aftermarket cooler.I am now playing Watch Dogs and i have Hwmonitor enabled. My gpu average load is 40%.My Cpu average load is 25%.Ad my ram memory is 31.2%.I have noticed someting.I have a list under the name of :ITE IT872F.The main concern is the power. And it goes like this:
Sensor Current Minimum Maximum Average

VCore 1.428 0.948 1.428 1.410
Vccp2 1.464 1.452 1.464 1.464
+3.3V 2.052 2.040 2.052 2.048
AVCC3 4.104 4.080 4.104 4.096
+12V 8.112 7.968 8.112 8.042

Are these values correct?Shouldnt be on +12V like 12 v not 8?

I've switched the cables and stil the same. The other weird thing that i've noticed is that if i will overclock my Cpu it is working worst.Everything seems to work slower if my Cpu is OC.

This seems to be misreporting, I wouldn't expect the computer to boot with less then 11 volts on the 12V.

What motherboard?

I don't see your CPU as actually supported, but the FX6350 is on there, so it should be. Do you have the latest FD BIOS installed on that board.

A voltmeter, or multimeter, can be used to confirm the voltages coming out of your power supply. If you don't have access to one basic models can be picked up at hardware and automotive stores for around $20.

After that I would start pointing fingers at your OS or your hard drive.

Yes.I do have latest bios update. In bios there are some informations regarding the power and everything is as it should.Maybe the software are not reading as it should in Windows.Windows disk check doesnt show any bad sectors for my hard drive
Another thing. Why s it that when i overclock my Cpu everything(even on deskop run in frames.Like a game without V-Sync.And the aero theme dissapears and it goes to basic windows scheme?

If you are appropriately increasing the voltage with your clock speeds, then the chip will consume more power and generate more heat as you increase speeds. It may not be your CPU that is the problem, it could be a motherboard component that is overtaxed.

Hardware Monitor, CPU-Z, CoreTemp, are pretty reliable programs. You can compare and contrast them to see which readings make the most sense.

If you are randomly losing Aero themes on the desktop, that is also an indicator that your video driver may be crashing. This could be a sign of a faulty GPU.

Again all of this could be power related as well.

The best way to test is to start removing/replacing components and looking for changes. Not everyone has the parts to do this, so it can be tricky to track down a problem.

Sorry to reply so late.I am only loosing Aero themes when i enable amd overdrive Cpu OC section.Only when i enable CPU OC.That is the only way i OC my cpu.Its so enoying. No matter how low will i go with details, resolution, etc i still have a lag in some areas.I was playing now some Wolfenstein New Order. And as same on full detail and max resolution i get lag on the lowest settings.I've been trying swapping the PSU cables, but no luck.Stopping all unwanted programs. No luck.So i have no game that doesnt lag.In wolfenstein i've tried OC and the funny thing was that it actually made it worst. It wasnt lagging where it use to,but it was going in slow motion.Really smooth but in slow motion.

Need for speed most wanted, AC4 and watchdogs will not work well with your setup on ultra settings @ 1080p or above.
I can't comment on Rivals because I never played the game

Do games like bioshock infinite and BF4 run well on your system?

Most people don't recommend software overclocking for CPUs, it is likely running too much voltage causing your issues.

Overclocking from the BIOS and doing stress tests at each modification is the proper way. There are plenty of motherboard specific guides out there on places like overclock.net.

Biosock went fairly well. But Battlefield 4 not so good.I am playing FarCry 3 now and the its not working well either. The same as Watch Dogs.I played with the setting and when I turn hdao and msa x8 I have some square things showing on screen>the same thing was with AC3 and Watch dogs.I had run 3dmark tests every thing seems ok.My girlfriend is playing on Sims 3 and that one has spike lags as well.Even Farming Simulator is running bad.I've tried overclocking from bios and seems that is only getting worse.I even bought a new SSD thinking that my hard drive is faulty. No improvement on gaming part except loading time :).Another funny thing is that every time I turn around in Farcry,AC3,Watch dogs my environment is not fully loaded(hope you understand what I am trying to say).
Thanks in advance

Is there anyone that has the same configuration and lives fairly close to me so we can swap things?I am really starting to be desperate just because others with much less performance are playing the games that I am not able to.

I've tried everything possible. What can be the problem?I've done stress tests and everything was good.Overclocking from bios went up to 4.3.I went higher but my screen turned blue.Far Cry 3 goes with 20 fps on ultra even if I will OC my Gpu.Anyone has an idea ?
I've just tried Tomb Raider and everything on ultra(maxed out)I am getting 47 avg Fps.On 1920x1080 and nothing OC.
