5gb DDR2 @ 333
550 Watt PowerUp! PSU

I got 6100 marks on 3dmark vantage @ 1280x960

I play alot of unreal tournament and I get dips from like 70 - 30 with textures max and world detail at half. I read this thread..

http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/98471-13-post-unreal-tournament-frame-rates-here

seems that people with older machines and the same res with MAX graphics get alot more stable FPS, I'm wondering what's going on here?

I can't even play crysis really, it stays at around 20-30 fps on all low settings, :( no problems with CoD 4 or Bioshock.. they seem to run well. sweeped the old drivers, installed new ones etc.. I'm ready to reformat. I don't know.

Part of the problem is your CPU. It's a quad, sure, but basically the slowest quad that money can buy, and anything that doesn't take advantage of the multiple cores will utterly crawl.
