Question Bad ping all of a sudden.

I recently have been having issue with my ping. I would get 20-30 ping or lower when I would play fortnite. Recently, it stays at 80-90 ping. I have tried multiple steps including: shutting off background apps, reinstalling the game, shutting off things in the task manager, resetting router etc. and my temps are fine. but nothing seems to be working. Are there any tips or fixes?

Psu:600 w (can’t remember the brand, but it’s newer)
Cpu: ryzen 5 2600
Gpu: rx 580
I have an old spinning disk for storage, which makes my pc run slow when loading in games.

You can't control much. You can only ensure that the ping to your router is consistent. Everything beyond that is your ISP.

Make sure your region is set correctly in the game, you might be logging into a server in another part of the country.

Instructions on how to change your matchmaking region, choose the closet region, don't rely on the auto selection.
