bad ping but good wifi?

I literally just got WiFi today. This is my speed test result: http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/6602867982 Notice how it says my ping is 5, but when I load into CSGO it says it's 120 - 130. Please help me understand how I get my ping back to single digits.

Ping is the time from your machine to the other and back. If you have a low ping to somewhere else, and high to csgo you're just farther from that server

If you are referring to the ping inside of the game that the game tells you, that is in reference to whatever server you are connected to or whoever is hosting the game. The farther away the physical location the higher the ping.

"Ping" does not mean what you think it means.
Your speedtest result of "5 ms " is phenomenal for a WiFi connection.

To a CSGO server? You have absolutely zero impact on what that might be.
Ping is the time it takes for a signal to go round trip from your PC to the server and back.

Want a lower number? Move to a house closer to the server.
