Bad Pool Header (Dad accidental deleted windows file) Windows 7

Hello,
I have looked eveywhere on the internet, and still havent been able to find a solution.

I am having a error on windows 7 desktop, in which happened after my dad accidentl deelted a windows file (not sure which one), the error is a bad pool header blue screen.

I have tried running a blue screen view, in which the errors that come up are two file names I believe (the ones highlighted)

Its avgldx64.sys and ntoskrnl.exe

Not sure what these are, I have tried running registry cleaning programs and have had no luck
I have also ran melware, and once again no luck.

Please help, thank you!

I can tell you that ntoskrnl.exe is the windows kernel file if thats missing then your best bet is to reinstall windows

It would be impossible to delete ntoskrnl while Windows is running unless you try really hard, you can't just do it accidentally. The other one is likely an AVG anti-virus file.

If a file was deleted, you need to put it back, doing anything else like a registry or a virus scan would be like washing your car to fix a missing spark plug.

How are you able to run that registry cleaner on the computer if it's not running? Are you using a boot disk or is the system actually running but crashing sometimes?

The computer is bootable via safe mode, which is how I did the check

Try doing a system restore to an earlier date.

Uninstall AVG and see if that works (assuming you have it installed as one of those files sounds like an AVG one).

If that does not help, you can boot off a Windows 7 disk and run a Repair setup which should put any missing files back.
