Yeah i accidently installed my ram backwards (dumbass me) and i reinstalled it the correct way and now my computer just beeps constantly i have checked everything so many times and yeah..... its adata Vitesta ddr2533 1gb ram stick.

I turned on my computer when i had it in the wrong way the 240 slot is kinda tricky compared to the 184.... plz help

Well, the module is probably fried and the motherboard might be as well. RMA the memory and try a different module in that slot to see if the slot is fried.

WOuld tryin the ram in another slot be a good idea?
I a,sk this ebcause if the stick is shorted it might just kill this slot too...

Anyhow happen to me once to push a little but realising it wasnt going in i saw it was backward! Didnt know it could actually fits.

It is true that the notch are trickier on DDRII
