I'm in parted magic on the bad computer, was able to access and back up all my data from the c: drive. At this point I suppose I could just buy a new sea gate hard drive but was curious if I could possibly somehow fix this bad drive using parted magic? I tried running TestDisk but when I select analyze it says Partition: Read error. When selecting quick search it says No partition found or selected for recovery.
Anything else I can do, or is it completely fried?
