[SOLVED] bad sectors hdd

My HDD has some bad sectors to it. i only use it to store games and some apps like filmora, and photoshop and some game replays that is not so important.

is this still safe to use? or should i change hdd?

Are you ready and willing to lose everything on that drive? With no hope of any recovery?

Seagate has a utility called seatools.
Normally, a HDD will come with a number of spare sectors that can be substituted for a failing sector.
Seatools should be able to detect a weak or failing sector and attempt to replace it.
It is worth a try.

Considering the current low prices for ssd devices, it is time to replace your hdd with a ssd.
A 1tb samsung 870 QVO is $110.
