Bad stress test.

Low FPS, stuttering and higher core temperatures after stress testing cpu. Even after a few days it’s still running hot.
My specs are, cpu:intel core i7 6700k
MB: ASU’s z170 pro gaming
GPU: Nvidia gtx 1080 rog strix
PSU: Corsair 750i
RAM: 32gb
Please help. My baby is sick.

what voltage and clock are you running?

what does HWMonitor show for idle temps, and default Prime95 (blended)? (a 7700K shows 33C/65C, or, 38C/70C if MCE is on with all cores at 4.5 GHz)

Is prime 95, by default, set to run at boot?

Prime95 is a CPU stress testing program....
It typically heats a CPU up as much as it will ever see within 10 minutes...; typically, gaming temps will be 5-8C lower than any temp seen on P95
