So I got an error when I turn my PC on this morning and I’m not sure how to fix it if there’s anyway that you can help me fix it that would be great now the problem is the automatic repair doesn’t work I also tried booting into safe mode and it won’t let me just get the same error I also don’t care about any files on the PC besides one folder my pictures folder just anyway you can help me in command prompt to try and move my folder onto a separate drive I would just reset my PC thank you

This error is generally caused when your boot configuration data becomes corrupted. If you can access the "Advanced Options" through either a recovery partition or a Windows 8.1 install DVD/USB, I would use the cmd tool and use:

bootrec /fixboot
bootrec /rebuildbcd
then restart the machine

A repair or reinstall of Windows 8.1 will also solve this problem as it will write new boot confiiguration data.
