So recently I have been streaming to Twitch but the games and my PC get really laggy when doing so. I can barely open a page and sometimes the games are unplayable. I did speed tests on my computer and it showed that I had an upload speed of only 640 Kbps. I looked for answers and I updated my nvidia drivers and also updated Java. I also removed this app thing called Windows Management Instrumentation which gave others problems. After all of this nothing helped and it really bugs me because my parents get way more upload speed then I do on my PC.

Suggest you discuss the matter with your parents. Most home networks are easily overwhelmed and slowed down by downloading, streaming, gaming, etc..

And in many cases not much can be done about it. However, if everyone involved is willing to work out some way to share fairly (yes, fairly is subjective) then all can benefit.

Do not know what your parents use the internet for per se. Maybe work or work related. But they are paying the bill I am sure and that does give them some priority beyond just being responsible parents.

Be reasonable, see if you can work things out. Demonstrate that you have a willingess to share, to be responsible, and to otherwise contribute - even if you have to give up some of "your" game time when...
