BAD_POOL_CALLER BSOD ntoskrnl.exe

Tried everything, still happening. Computer keeps throwing up BSOD with BAD_POOL_CALLER id. They seem to be coming from 2 files, ntoskrnl.exe and v0790Vid.sys. If anyone can help me I'd greatly appreciate it, it's driving me mad!

edit to add ive tried sfc /scannow, chkdsk /f and /r, ive tried registry checkers, ive run a 12 hour memtest, I even edited a value in the registry from a 3 to a 0 which seemed to temporarily stop the blue screens. I have a few dump files that when i use blue screen viewer tells me its ntoskrnl.exe and v0790Vid.sys. I really dont want to have to reinstall windows, and even if i do, how am i gonna be sure it wont happen again? please help

Do you have latest BIOS and mobo drivers? Latest GPU and other device drivers? Any newly added programs?
