Folks, attempting to install a pre-registered creative writing program I am met with the below error
code which has me baffled. I don't know whether this is software based or something related to my new rig which was used by the previous owner mainly for encoding video ( I include it in the vein of full disclosure). Any insight would be a tremendous help and appreciated with many thanks..

internal error occurred (error code: 34)

...\Users\XPS.....\Temp\i4j_nlog_5

ps..the nlog file was blank though not a .txt file.

Solution
It appears to be the software you are installing.

1 answer I found was re download the installer as it may not have downloaded correctly. If your web browser offers the options of either running or saving the file please select the save option, then run the installation once the download has finished.

if problem persists, may need to contact people who make program

Solution
Thank you both.
The issue is now resolved. Wish I could relay just what caused the error, but unfortunately it cleared itself. I merely went to the site and attempted another install which proceed without a fault. Would be interesting to have a handle on what went wrong in case of re-occurrence, but then comes to mind the caution of looking gifted horses in the grill :)...again, thanks.
