Balanced System with Ryzen 5

I'm currently using an i5 2500k paired with a GTX 1060 6GB, and this is obviously unbalanced. Because I wanna get rid of this balancing problem, I'm planning on upgrading to a Ryzen 5 1600 and probably DDR4 3200 RAM. So here's my question: Will my system be balanced or either GPU or CPU bottlenecked ?

Yes, the Ryzen and the 1060 are pretty capable of driving and complementing each other. It will be very much balanced, without any bottlenecks.

Thanks for the answer, as I wasn't sure if the new Pascal architecture of the GTX 1060 or the new Zen architecture of the Ryzen was overkill for the other part.
