baldurs gate lockpicking.

my fighter/thief has 105 lock-picking but the icon is grey and i can't select it to open locks. what am i doing wrong ?

You can only use Thief skills if you are wearing Leather, Studded Leather, or Hide Armor. Wearing metal armors such as Chain or Plate will disable all Thief or Mage abilities.
