Bandicam Stuttering?

When I try to record Minecraft I get some weird stuttering.

It looks like that. Doesn't happen with any other games.

Even though MC is still running at like 50FPS it looks like 15 FPS or something. This doesn't happen with Fraps, but the files are like 100x the size. I recorded a 30 second Fraps video and it was like 2GB, where as with Bandicam its like 20MB.

Another thing is the FPS drops. In most games recording makes very little difference to my FPS, but in Minecraft it drops from like 240 to below 50.

Thanks,

How would I compress it? I need it as small as possible, my upload speed it s**t. It is .5 megabits per second. It takes me like around 12 hours to upload a gigabyte.

EDIT: Just googled the compression issue and now I can get the 2GB file to about 150MB. I suppose that's good enough. Thank you for your help.

yeah yer fps is all over the place... bandicam is actually a little kinder to the cpu if you have a quad core over fraps as it spreads itself over the cores while fraps uses 1 core only..
try choosing a different download directory off the main hdd. if your drive is reading the game and having to write to the same hdd you will cause slowdown. so if you have a second drive use that.
also choose a different codec. then as suggested compress it smaller if you need to later.
i have no issue with fraps as i have used it for years but i recently discovered bandicam and it is a little less system intensive and a little less intrusive on the fps side of things.
i dunno what mods your using for minecraft but its more likely the game is reasonable for the crap fps over bandicam... i just installed it myself 2 days ago but i get a rock solid 60 but i use the vanilla version and my system is a bit older although very similar in performance.

I already tried recording to a flash drive. I suppose I could try recording to a RAMDisk. It's not like I need 16GB for MineCraft. I don't have any external HDDs or anything.

It's really weird. Recording my screen shouldn't drop FPS from 200+ to some stuttering 50. Doesn't happen in other games, my FPS stays about the same. In CoD4: MW my FPS doesn't seem to drop at all. It goes between 100 and 200 whether I'm recording or not.

have you made sure the frame limiter is off... sometimes you can inadvertently enable it. i has multiple settings. and sometimes depending on the game if its not set correctly it can adversely affect the fps. i did have a weird expedience though. i started fraps then minecraft to see what fps i was getting. after starting i was getting 45-75 fps. then after a bit of mining and jumping about my fps shot up to 120+ and stayed at 90+ minimum... i dunno what happens but for some reason it seems parts of the map are much less demanding than others. but at no time did i drop below 45 whether at the start or just b4 i turned it off.
so i dunno whats going on with your game...
i guess its just buggy.

Recording to faster drive will not help with bandicam, since it's using up too much CPU, not hard drive. Also, you can easily compress fraps videos - around 10 minute video on 1080p uncompressed takes 60GB, and when you compress it, it's around 900 MB. That's considering 1080p.

The RAMDisk didn't help. Same problem. I'll google that frame limiter thing, it seems to be trying to cap it at 60 or so.

EDIT: Using Sony Vegas 10 I got a 1GB Fraps file to 40MB and the quality still looks rather good. I suppose I'll do that.
